Perodua Network Continues To Grow

Due to the growing level of interest in the Perodua franchise, Perodua UK added seven new dealerships to its network in December and January amounting to an increase of 13 per cent. Perodua’s latest appointments fall in areas which give new customers access to the Perodua range of vehicles and allow current owners greater flexibility when their cars require a service.

Perodua UK’s Managing Director, Tim Slaughter, has great confidence in the new dealers, saying: "I am delighted with the continued expansion of the Perodua network and believe this will further enhance the availability and success of Perodua cars in the UK."

Peter Hedges, who owns new Perodua dealership Peter Hedges Car Sales at St. Ives in Cambridgeshire says; "I honestly believe from 17 years of franchise experience that Perodua will suit our business. We needed a small competitively priced car and these are two nice looking cars at affordable prices with plenty of equipment. This product at this price can only impress customers."

Paul Mallett has recently joined the Perodua network with his dealership Ivybridge Motors in Devon. He adds: "The Perodua franchise fits very nicely in my business as we are focused on selling value for money brands. The Kelisa is a wonderful car which is already proving to be very popular; we registered seven cars over the Christmas period alone."

In total the Perodua dealer network now includes 54 dealerships in the UK, with eleven new dealers added in the last six months. Further appointments are expected during the next few months and open points which Perodua is keen to close include the Thames Valley, North Wales, Northern Ireland, Manchester, the South East Midlands and Northern Scotland.
