Perodua Does It Again With Budget-Priced New Kelisa EX

Not content with heading the CAP Network top 30 for the past five months with Kelisa - Britain's least expensive new car to own and run over 3 years/60,000 miles - Perodua has gone one better with the introduction of the even more affordable Kelisa EX starting at just £4,999. Price adjustments on two more Kelisa models further enhance the affordability of the range.

Pitched within a few hundred pound of the previous Nippa city car, Kelisa EX provides an affordable step up for cost conscious motorists looking for a modern and practical 5-door city car boasting a high standard specification. Kelisa EX includes power-assisted steering, twin airbags, side-impact protection, seat belt pretensioners and rear door child locks.

Kelisa EX carries virtually the same trim levels of the EXi, but with a reduced warranty to one-year/12,000 miles. Crucially, it gives buyers the option of a new, high technology vehicle, starting below £5,000 in a sector previously dominated by second or third generation vehicles.

The Kelisa range now comprises four models; the new EX at £4,999 delivered*, the EXi (formerly the EX) at £5,199 delivered*; the GXi (formerly the GX) at £5,699 delivered* and the EZi automatic (formerly the EZ) which remains at £6,600 delivered**, but now includes electrically operated door mirrors as standard.
