More dCi's On Micra

The new unit is based on the current 1.5dCi 65PS engine, on sale since May, but now has an air intercooler fitted which assists in raising the additional 17PS of power and the torque to a respectable 185Nm at 2000rpm. But at what cost I hear you cry… well the fuel economy actually improves to 62.3mpg (combined) with a CO2 figure of only 119.
This new addition, which completes the line-up for 2003, is available in 3 grades - SE, SX and SVE. The SE comes with Intelligent key, air-conditioning, rain sensing wipers and 15" wheels but should you want more, choose the SX or SVE. Then you get alloy wheels, climate control and depending on the grade, either ultrasonic rear parking sensors or a rear spoiler and tinted headlamp covers.
With a starting price of £10195 and a transfer price of £400 over the lower powered version, the cost of cruising around Chelsea in a trendy ‘diesel fuelled’ vehicle is less than an average football player’s daily wage... or is that hourly?
