Team Works For Nissan

At the same time Nissan is also strengthening the contract hire side of its car and van fleet sales department with the appointment of two contract hire and leasing managers.
On the van side Mark Hamilton joins Nissan as LCV Fleet Manager, covering the South and brings with him an extensive background in the motor industry. As LCV Fleet Manager for the North of England and Scotland, Kay Fenwick brings with her a solid background in business development. The appointments mark an exciting time for Nissan as it now offers the business user one of the broadest product ranges in the UK.
The car and van contract hire sector accounts for a large number of fleet sales, and Nissan has recognised this by appointing two new managers to strengthen relationships with the key suppliers.
Francis Bleasdale and Gareth Thomas have joined Nissan’s fleet team, covering the North of England and the Midlands respectively. Both have a wide degree of experience in motor related industries. In addition to his regional responsibilities, Gareth is also a Nissan LCV specialist, which means he will be managing relationships with van departments in the major contract hire companies.
The four new appointments will be supported by the Nissan Business Centre dealer network, which was established in 2002. With specialist sales and technical knowledge, the new recruits offer a dedicated service to fleets as well as business user advice and assistance.
Commenting on the four appointments, Dave Murfitt, Fleet Sales
Director of Nissan GB said, ‘The extension of our team
further strengthens our commitment to the fleet car and van customer.
Both the commercial and contract hire markets are key areas for
Nissan and these appointments will ensure our fleet sales continue
on the back of our growing range of cars and vans.’
