The Almera was offered up as the star prize in a competition, which was held in conjunction with Haven and British Holidays autumn brochure. Money raised from calls to the competition hotline will help people with disabilities to become more mobile through their grant programme.
The winner of the car, Janet Meardon from Swindon, said: "When I received the letter to tell me that I had won, I couldn’t believe it. My husband and I own a Nissan but were looking to replace it soon, and now we don’t have to!"
David Murfitt, Fleet Sales Director of Nissan Motor (GB) Limited said: "Ultimately the proceeds from the competition could provide steering adaptations for up to 170 vehicles driven by people with disabilities and we were delighted to be given the opportunity to become involved in such a worthwhile cause."
