Nissan has provided vehicles to the Cornwall Partnership NHS Trust for nearly eight years and currently supplies 360 cars - mainly Micras and Almeras - but also Primeras and X-Trails, to the 900 strong fleet.

Jane Perriss, Transport Manager at Cornwall Partnership NHS Trust, said, "We have worked with Nissan since July 1995 and the key to the success of the relationship is the reliability of their cars and the exceptional service support they provide.

"Our staff, especially midwives and district nurses who provide care in the community, need a car that is reliable, comfortable and of course economical.

"The new Micra has been extremely well received by our staff who have told us it has the ‘big car feel’ but remains in the small car category and fuel efficient."

Lee Pennells, Area Fleet Manager, Nissan Motor (GB) Limited said, "We believe Nissan has repeatedly been chosen by the Trust drivers because of our high level of vehicle specification and reliability combined with excellent after sales service and competitive prices, all of which are vital for an organisation of this nature.

"We will continue to build our relationship with the Trust during the year to come."

All the vehicles are contract hired and supplied through Automotive Leasing via local dealers Town & Country and West End Motors in Cornwall.
