Nissan is sponsoring Sky One’s Sunday night line-up of original drama, featuring Dream Team, 24 and Nip/Tuck. To celebrate this illustrious partnership, Nissan has created an original film, which will play out over the six-month sponsorship as ‘bumpers’ to the programmes above. To interest viewers further, Nissan has launched www.nissan-drama.co.uk - a site that is designed to maintain the edgy and atmospheric vibe of the film, drawing users further into the storyline.
Fans will be directed to the site from both the Nissan and Sky One websites, as well as the interactive sections accessible to digital viewers. If your ad breaks are filled with cups of tea or trips to the loo, then you can view the episodes online; the first five are already available, with new episodes added a few days after their Sky One debut.
As the original drama unfolds, the site will evolve to contain lots more features including snippets of information on the characters, events and places, as well as information about the Murano and 350Z Roadster, which both make Oscar-winning appearances in the film.
There will also be an unofficial blog located somewhere on the site…. This is an online diary where you can chat about the film so far, make predictions as to what might happen next, work out the importance of that keyring and who knows, maybe even make new friends?Published 10 March 2005
