Nissan is sponsoring Warren Miller’s 57th UK film tour. Part action/adventure, part documentary, the film features well known athletes like Jeremy Bloom and Glen Plake on their never-ending search for new and thrilling ways to ride the snow.
Higher Ground, the latest in the Warren Miller series, is currently touring the UK and will be showing in 40 towns and cities. There’s an obvious affinity between Nissan and Warren Miller as Nissan’s 4x4 range is built to withstand extreme conditions - especially handy for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts who are in search of the ultimate experience. And the Warren Miller series of films has developed a cult following among winter sports enthusiasts.
Nissan’s marketing communications manager, Andy Connell said: "We’re delighted to be presenting the film on its tour of the UK. We feel our superb range of 4x4 vehicles sits well with this as they offer exactly what winter sports enthusiasts need - powerful and rugged vehicles capable of accessing the most extreme conditions, with space to take all the equipment and plenty of passengers as well."
Tickets for the film are available from www.warrenmiller.co.uk
Recently voted 4x4 manufacturer of the year by 4x4 and MPV magazine, Nissan’s six strong 4x4 range includes X-TRAIL, Pathfinder, Navara Pickup, Terrano, Patrol and Murano.
