Tour Of Cheshire

The Tour of Cheshire is a daylight historic road rally with a mix of special tests and regularity sections around the scenic Cheshire countryside. It is run as a National B Status event and whilst it provides a challenge to the most experienced crews, we give unrivalled support to Novices and Beginners.

We also run a slightly shorter “Clubmans Rally” alongside the National B event which we hope will appeal to crews of Vintage cars and maybe concours cars or beginners wanting something a little less taxing than the main event.

Both events will start and finish at Cranage Hall, Holmes Chapel (just off J18 M6) which offers excellent facilities as well as affordable overnight accommodation. The total mileage is 140 miles (less for the Clubmans Rally) and will include morning coffee, lunch at Carriages Restaurant at New Russia Hall and evening buffet, all of which are included in the entry fee.

The overall format will be similar to the 2005 event which was very well received by competitors.

The Tour of Cheshire is part of the HRCR Clubmans Championship, HRCR Tartan Series and ANWCC Historic Championship. Member Clubs of the ANCC, WAMC and EMAMC are also invited. The Associations include HERO, HRCR and Knutsford and District Motor Club. We are restricting the entry to 75 cars, so please get your entry in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Regulations for the event are available now. They have been posted to all Championship contenders but are also available on our Club website at www.knutsfordmotorclub.co.uk/historic.htm

As in 2005 we will be raising funds for the North West Air Ambulance.

Reserve the date in your diary and we look forward to seeing you in March!
