Eat Your Heart Out Becks, Mine's A Ferrari Too!

David Beckham and his millionaire footballer friends are not the only ones who can afford to park a Ferrari on the drive, or take a trip to the shops in a Bentley, according to research by used car database, Cardata.co.uk
A quick scan of the used car classifieds has uncovered a gaggle of supercars and luxury motors from as little as £9,281.
Usually the reserve of the training ground car park, 885 Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Maseratis, Aston Martins, Rolls Royces and Bentleys were logged by Cardata during the last quarter of 2004.
Amongst the hidden gems waiting to be unearthed included a Bentley Continental at £10,200 and a Ferrari Daytona for under £13,000.
For those who desire the ultimate in outrageous motoring, Cardata found four pristine Lamborghini Diablos. "With an average asking price of £65,750, it’ s still a hefty price to pay, but not such a painful one when you consider it cost over £149,450 new," explained Andrew Sobell of Cardata.
Cheaper, yet no less desirable, is Aston Martin’s stunning DB7. More than fifty examples of the James Bond machine were advertised in the classifieds. Prices started at £33,500 for a 1996 example.
Supercars aside, the ultimate in four-wheeled luxury, a Rolls Royce or Bentley, can be snapped up for the same price as an MPV. Cardata researchers found over one hundred Rolls Royce Silver Shadow’s on the market with an average asking price of just over £10,000.
"With a spot of hunting, supercar performance at sports car money is more than just a pipedream," says Sobell. "In reality, killer depreciation eventually makes these cars a more affordable purchase for those of us dreaming of that something rather special in the garage."
