Interest In 55 Series Makes DVLA Go Early

"We have had more than double the usual number of enquiries we would expect for a new registration series," explained Byron Roberts, Marketing Manager for DVLA Personalised Registrations. "We believe the popularity stems from a general increase in interest for current style plates and this particular series lends itself particularly well to personalisation," he added.
The 55 series plates will go on sale from 1st June and can be used on vehicles first registered on or after 1 September 2005. Full details of all marks for sale will be posted on the DVLA Personalised Registrations website, www.dvlaregistrations.co.uk, from 9th May.
