Steeda's 'Screamin' Yellow Q' Mustang Concept Now Available In UK
Published: 13th April 2005
When Ford announced the new Mustang in 2004, the US automotive aftermarket had already gone in to hyper-drive in anticipation of the iconic pony car’s arrival. Steeda, the aftermarket Mustang and Focus specialist, wheeled out their highly developed "Screamin' Yellow Q" ‘05 Mustang before the stock version had even hit the street. Now, UK muscle car enthusiasts can enjoy Steeda’s ’05 Mustang products, through Bedford-based parts supplier - USAutomotive Ltd.
The Steeda ‘05 Mustang inventory already includes over 100 custom components covering exterior body styling, and wheels, through to key under-bonnet performance enhancements such as tuned shorty headers and Steeda’s fantastically efficient Cold Air Kit. This latter item releases so much more extra oxygen that the engine’s computer is recalibrated, resulting in an additional 26.7 horsepower!
Other key components in the extensive Steeda ‘05 Mustang catalogue include a front strut brace, and heavy duty suspension components for road or track, comprising anti-roll bars, lowered springs, ball joints and urethane bush mountings. Steeda’s patented Tri-Ax shifter provides both a shorter and more positive shift for the standard manual transmission and includes billet aluminium construction and upgraded bearings.
Steeda’s reputation for quality is second to none and Team Steeda has worked hard in the US to earn the title of Ford’s Number One Aftermarket Company. "We proudly supply parts to Ford that are sold as their own," says Dario Orlando, President of Steeda Autosports. Product endorsement doesn’t get any better than this.
