Autoglym Active Insect Remover

Squashed flies and other insects which plague many a day’s driving in summer and can cause permanent marks on a car’s bodywork have met their match in Autoglym’s latest product.

Active Insect Remover is a 500ml trigger spray which may be used on windscreens, headlights and grilles to rapidly wipe off the offending creatures. Most importantly, it is also safe on paintwork.

It uses a formula which has been developed after intensive research by Autoglym to be a combination of effectiveness and safety on all surfaces.

Autoglym Sales Director David Rogers said: "Squashed insects can be a safety hazard in summer which no amount of screenwashing will remove. In addition they are very acidic and can permanently mark paintwork.

"The trade has been looking for such a product from us for a number of years, but we were determined not to launch it until the formula was proven to be strong but safe."

Active Insect Remover retails for £5.99.
