New Marque-Specific Wheels Through Yokohama HPT Ltd

The UK distributor of TSW, Mangels and MAK alloy wheels, Yokohama HPT Ltd, has added two more marque-specific brands to its portfolio. The Redbourne range has been designed exclusively for Land Rover and Range Rover models, while the wheels from August are intended for the Audi range.

The Redbourne offering features two designs, the Duke and the Saxon. The Duke is a multi-spoke wheel, with ten flat-faced spokes radiating out from a full mounting face. As the spokes move out towards the wheel rim, they curve inwards, producing a deep lip to the wheel. This results in an aggressive feel while enhancing the sense of size, crucial for any of the vehicles it is intended for. The Duke is available in silver and hyper black with a mirror-cut lip, while a chrome finish is available as a special order.

The Saxon, on the other hand, is a much smoother design, with six spokes running flat from the full mounting face to the very edge of the wheel rim. The spokes maintain their width all the way to the rim, providing plenty of metal in the wheelarch and huge presence. Like the Duke, the Saxon is available in silver with chrome a special order.

Both the Redbourne models have been designed specifically for the Land Rover Discovery and the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models. Not only have they been developed to enhance the image of any of these models, they also recognise the vehicles’ ability to operate off-road and have been designed with strength and durability to allow this.

They will work with the original tyre pressure monitoring system on these models and are available in sizes from 9x18in to 9.5x22in, with prices beginning at £163.13+VAT.

The August range has been designed for Audi models, including both the ‘A’ and ‘S’ versions of the A3, A4, A6, A8 and the Q7 SUV. The size range has been developed to accommodate the larger brakes on the S models while both styles, the Union and the Werke, were designed to compliment the marque’s lines perfectly.

The Union is a soft five-spoke wheel, with the individual spokes curving inwards from the mounting face to join the wheel rim part-way along its width. This gives a deep lip to the Union and will hint at purposefulness for the car without appearing too obvious.

The Werke, on the other hand, is a more aggressive design, with ten pairs of spokes again running out to the wheel rim and curving inwards as they do so. This also gives the Werke a deep lip, which combined with the multi-spokes, gives a very determined and powerful stance.

Both the Union and the Werke are available in sizes from 8x17in to 10x22in for the Q7, with the depth of the lip increasing with the size of the wheel. Both are available in silver with a mirror-cut lip and prices start at £127.61+VAT.

The addition of Redbourne and August compliment the three existing marque-specific ranges distributed by YHPT Ltd. The Beyern range is designed specifically for BMW models, Mandrus for the Mercedes range and Victor Equipment wheels have been developed specifically for Porsche models.

The range now gives owners of five premium automotive brands the opportunity to personalise their vehicles safe in the knowledge that the wheels in question have been rigorously developed specifically for their particular application.

All five ranges are now available exclusively through YHPT’s nationwide dealer network.
