Leeds based fractional ownership company 12thShare.com has recently launched the UK's first Supercar shared ownership programs which enable groups of individuals to buy and run some of the worlds most exclusive cars at a fraction of their fully owned cost.

The companies most recent listing is the Swedish Koenigsegg CCX which at £440,000 is not only one of the worlds most expensive Supercars, it's also one of the fastest, capable of reaching speeds in excess of 245mph. Only 12 cars are hand built per year and 12thShare.com is the first company in the world to offer the car through a fractional ownership program.

For those who watch BBC's Top Gear program, the Koenigsegg CCX currently holds the record for the fastest test track lap and had presenter Jeremy Clarkson confessing that he would give up nicotine in exchange for this car.

On a recent visit to the factory in Sweden, Tommy Wareham, Koenigsegg UK sales manager said " the company is very excited to have 12thShare on board as a customer, the fractional ownership system opens up an opportunity for these cars to be appreciated by many more people."

The Koenigsegg CCX currently has a two year waiting list but 12thShare.com have negotiated a deal on one of the first cars to arrive in the UK in March 2007. So prepare yourself for the drive of your life next summer in one of the worlds most exclusive Supercars ever.

Unlike traditional car clubs, 12thshare.com provides owners with a set 27 days driving and offers a cash return per share when the car is sold. Limitations on only having one car to drive are removed through an exchange forum, where owners can literally 'swap' days with each other in order to drive different cars.

MD Steve Woodhead said "We realise that many Supercar owners drive their cars infrequently and that they spend the majority of the time in storage. So sharing one car between a group of owners not only makes good economic sense, it allows an individual to only pay for the time they can realistically use."

So if you don't want to wait until you can afford your dream car or your existing Supercar is costing you a small fortune, fractional ownership is the way to live large but pay little.
