The Eco Velocity car show at Battersea Power Station will see some some of the world's fastest and eco-friendly cars in a specially created green supercar paddock.

The paddock has been design specifically to show the range of exciting, sport and stylish green supercars, which will include the Bluebird Electric which has just attempted the British Electric Land Speed Record in South Wales, and the Tesla Roadster, the first highway capable electric car in serial production.

Also at the will be the Delta Motorsport E-4 Coupe, boasting a 200 mile driving range from a single charge. The Evelio which can reach 0-62mph in 3.2 second, the Lightning GT producing 700HP, the Nemisis Electric Sports Car, which is completely UK-built and the Westfield Sport E, capable of reaching 62mph in 7 seconds.

Giles Brown, EcoVelocity Event Director, said: "The addition of the green supercar paddock might well be a little bit unexpected for some visitors and will definitely grab a lot of attention, but that is the whole point, changing perceptions.

"We are here to educate people about eco friendly motoring which is evolving all the time."

EcoVelocity runs from 8th to 11th September 2011 at the Battersea Power Station and will host the latest green models, including electric, low CO2 emitting cars and hybrid models. There will also be the opportunity to test drive some vehicles on a specially constructed circuit.

Brands attending the event include Citroen, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, SEAT, Vauxhall, Volvo, Toyota, Lexus and Mia Electric.
