Caravan Care and Maintenance Tips

It is estimated Britons will take 13 million caravan holidays this year, and Armor All, pioneers in the art of car care, are urging holidaymakers to hit the road safely and in style, by giving their vehicle the once over first.

According to the National Caravan Council (NCC), an estimated 500,000 caravans are in regular use, out of a total of 1.5m caravanners, motor caravanners and trailer tenters in the UK, and the NCC director-general John Lally comments: "There is widespread evidence that existing caravan owners are using their caravans more, and with the increased interest in caravan holidays we're experiencing, it could result in more than 2m extra holidays being taken in Britain this year."

Armor All is therefore urging fans and first-timers alike, to use its range of care and appearance products to ensure a safe start to the holiday season, with particular due diligence directed towards windscreens and mirrors, and tyres too.

With good vision vital at all times, Armor All Glass Cleaner can be used to give the windscreen and wing mirrors the once over before setting off, whilst keeping a handy 15 wipe pouch of Glass Wipes in the glovebox, will help with those on-the-spot, touch-up emergencies.

If the insect interference is altogether more brutal however, Armor All Insect Remover will remove the baked on bugs safely from glass and paintwork, ensuring a rapid resumption of your journey.

With the damaging effects of the elements to tyres over time - salt in the winter and sun in the summer - including tyre wall fading and even cracking, regular use of Armor All Tire Foam or Armor All Extreme Tire Shine, will clean and add shine to tyres, and offer long-term protection from such problems before they put pay to your vacation.

Armor All has a long history of providing products to suit the demands of many millions of motorists, and answering the call of the UK's proud caravan and motorhome owners, its current range boasts an extensive list of solutions to clean every surface, inside and out.
