Poll Confirms What Women Want

More women drive Fords than other make of car according to a new survey from Missmotorquote.co.uk, the online site dedicated to finding the keenest insurance rates for women drivers.

They are certainly the car most want to insure.

Since the beginning of the year, Ford has been the make of car the site has been most frequently asked to quote on with 20% of women contacting the site owned a Ford, 13.5% a Vauxhall and 10% a Peugeot.

Taken together, the top three most popular makes accounted for 43.5% of all insurance enquiries from women. Other popular makes of car favoured by women drivers included Fiat, Renault and Volkswagen.

But no matter what the make of car, Missmotorquote.co.uk offers the female owners of every make and model the same high quality standards of service and a promise to find the most competitive rates available.

"The ladies need not worry if their car is not a Ford, Vauxhall or Peugeot as Missmotorquote is specially designed to meet their specific requirements and has the flexibility to offer the same great value for money to all," says Spencer Street, General Manager of the QuoteA network of sites, which includes Missmotorquote.

"Set up last year and a hit with the ladies from day one, Missmotorquote.co.uk uses a unique method to determine risk and hence the cost of insurance, and the make and model of car is only one part of the process, so if they want something a little more racy it’s not a problem.

"The site interacts with customers to not only get the vital information it needs to prepare a quote, but also finds out if they have any special needs or circumstances that they want taking into account. Armed with this information, which can be quickly added to via a telephone conversation using the site’s ‘Call me now’ button, Missmotorquote staff can interrogate their wide list of insurers and find the one most willing and able to provide the best value cover at the cheapest price.

"This approach has proved popular with women across the motoring spectrum, who are happy to save time and money by buying their insurance online. They have told us this is what they want and whatever they drive its clear they have a keen eye for good value," he adds.
