Unique Auction For The Ultimate British Grand Prix Weekend

Motorsport enthusiasts from the UK and far beyond are certain to be lining up for a unique Internet auction which goes live this weekend. It offers, amongst other normally unbuyable privileges, two ultimate access passes to the hallowed Silverstone F1 paddock provided personally by Bernie Ecclestone.

The auction provides a once in a lifetime opportunity to secure VIP access to the British Grand Prix - a package of benefits which are literally beyond price. Yet money raised from the auction will go to an exceptionally good cause - The Grand Prix Mechanics Charitable Trust (GPMCT).

Global Beach , whose e-marketing expertise lies behind many of the web-based services of major car makers has acted as marketing and promotion consultants for the project, helping to extend its reach in both on- and off-line media.

This unique opportunity will provide two people with unparalleled access to the 2005 Fosters British Grand Prix and includes:

  • Passes to the F1 Paddock for all three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) provided by Mr Bernie Ecclestone
  • Three-day access to BRDC Clubhouse and BRDC Grandstand seats overlooking the Brooklands Complex

“I cannot recall this sort of privileged access to the Grand Prix paddock area being made available to anyone outside the immediate world of F1. It’s a tribute to a whole range of people, particularly Bernie Ecclestone, that this has been possible”, said Sir Jackie Stewart. “Their generosity will I am certain make this auction a tremendous success, benefiting in the process the good work undertaken by The Grand Prix Mechanics Charitable Trust which I founded in 1987 to help Grand Prix Mechanics in times of hardship”.

Clive Jackson, Founder and CEO of Global Beach, said: “We are delighted to have been able to assist in facilitating this unique auction and assisting Sir Jackie in his efforts to provide further funds for his Trust”.
