Alpine Electronics Launches New Alpinesound Website

Alpine Electronics

Highlights latest developments in infotainment systems - for beginners through to dedicated audiophiles.

Leading in-car infotainment specialist Alpine Electronics has launched a new website dedicated to the pursuit of perfect audio. Aimed at end-users, the website explains the elements of outstanding in-car entertainment and highlights the latest technological advances.

From basic information on how speakers work through to detailed technical explanations, the new website caters for all levels of understanding. It also includes a history of Alpine Electronics, highlighting its leading role over the past 25 years in the development of in-car systems.

With Alpine sole supplier of in-car entertainment systems to Jaguar, the website also features a dedicated area for Jaguar drivers, identifying the key elements of the systems and explaining how each has been tuned to the acoustic properties of the respective model.

"If you own a Jaguar and want to get the most out of your sound system then this site shows you how," explains Alpine’s OEM Sales and Marketing Director Dave Sheen. "Each system can be adjusted to provide optimum sound quality, focussing on the driver when alone or all occupants when the car is full."

The site also provides a fascinating tour behind the scenes at Alpine’s Evaluation Centre in Japan, showing the company’s world-class test facilities and explaining how new systems are developed.
