Golfers Tee Up To Win A Morgan Sports Car
Published: 6th September 2003
Organised by the EGGS Captain’s Charity, the event is in aid of research into Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma – a form of cancer. Steve Gill, a 33 year old who works for the Morgan Motor Company in Malvern Link, contracted the disease 12 years ago, and is happily now completely free of the cancer following successful treatment.
"I wanted to do something to help other people suffering this illness, and we came up with the idea of putting up a Morgan car as a special prize in the golf tournament," says Steve.
"I discussed the idea with Morgan management, and with
the kind support of Hedley Insurance Services, who provide insurance
services to Morgan, and local Morgan dealers Mike Duncan, it has
really taken off."
