Carlube Triple R Oils The Wheels Of Morgan's Racing Renaissance

Commenting, Charles Morgan, Managing Director of Morgan Motor Company said: "We are really delighted to be working with Tetrosyl. Motor racing is an incredibly demanding environment, where every element of the car and the team is tested under great stress. Of course, this makes it a superb proving ground for Morgan cars, and for Tetrosyl’s Carlube Triple R product too. Following the stunning performance by the works-assisted, private DEWALT/RSS entry in 2002, there has been a huge demand for a fully-fledged works team in 2003. But racing is notoriously expensive, and really is beyond the means of a small private company like ours. So the seed funding our new partners have provided is absolutely critical to get our works team fully up and running."
The Carlube sponsorship will also support a private team, run by Keith Ahlers and Rob Wells, who will run a Morgan Aero 8 designed specifically to meet the new criteria of the BRDC’s new Cup Class in the British GT.
Keith Ahlers, already very well known to the club racing world, comments: "We are really excited to be running a Morgan in the British GT. I think this will be good for the race, good for the fans, and good for motorsport generally."
Under the terms of the agreement, Morgan will supply specially-branded Carlube Triple R oil as part of original equipment on every new Morgan sports car.
Developed in association with Lotus Motorsport, Carlube Triple R bonds to the engine surface, reducing friction whilst maintaining viscosity from extreme cold start conditions to sustained high temperature motorway driving.
The full Carlube Triple R range includes a fully synthetic motorsport specification 15W-50, a fully synthetic OW-40 and a Turbo Diesel synthetic 15W-40 plus the more conventional semi synthetic 5W-30, 5W-40 and 10W-40.
Carlube Triple R Synthetic engine oils are available from
Motorworld, A1 Motorstores, Les Smith, CAR, Motoman and all
good car accessory shops.
