Adam Sharpe Gears Up For Le Mans Race

Winning Team

Adam Sharpe, the 19 year-old Taunton-based racing star whose career has blasted off during 2003 in the British GT Championship, is all set to take another giant leap towards international stardom as he prepares for a very busy programme during November.

A stunning winning performance by Adam at Brands Hatch recently, alongside team mate and Morgan Works anchor driver Neil Cunningham, attracted the attention of the official Morgan Works Team, which is making last minute preparations for a visit to the world famous Le Mans race track on 9 November.

Morgan Works Team Manager, David Dowse comments:

"Adam has proved to be a superb partner for Neil, who we rate as one of the best drivers working in the GT world at the moment. The 1000 km race at Le Mans in November is a vital stepping stone to the big 24 hour race there next summer, and we’re really delighted that we’ll be working with a winning combination behind the wheel of the 500 bhp, 200 mph works Morgan Aero 8."

Adam will barely have time to draw breath after the French outing before he flies to Australia to compete with Neil again, this time in the gruelling 24 Hour race at Bathurst.

Race fans can follow Adam and Neil on the road to glory on a special web site that has been set up at
