Mitsubishi Motors, one of National Hunt Racing’s longest-standing supporters, today confirmed their continued support for the £100,000 Mitsubishi Shogun Tingle Creek Trophy, to be run at Sandown Park on 7 December.

John Brewster, Deputy Finance Director for Mitsubishi said, "We are delighted to announce our 12th year of sponsorship of the prestigious Mitsubishi Shogun Tingle Creek Trophy. Over the years this race has produced some truly great contests, and Mitsubishi Motors are pleased and proud to continue their association with it".

Andrew Cooper, Clerk of the Course for Sandown Park said, "We are delighted to welcome back Mitsubishi Motors and we are extremely grateful for their continued sponsorship of the Tingle Creek Trophy. This year’s renewal looks likely to feature three times winner Flagship Uberalles against Irish star Moscow Flyer, so another thrilling encounter is assured".

Mitsubishi Motors is one of the longest serving major sponsors in the UK equestrian world. Their sponsorship of National Hunt racing works in tandem with their continued sponsorship of the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials, (May 2003).
