March 03 To Be The New August?
Published: 17th February 2003
Until the end of March customers looking at more traditional models have the European built 5-door Space Star range starting at £9,995 on the road. All models are available with 3 years/27,000 miles free servicing and 50/50 finance, pay 50% now and nothing more until 2004.
The Carisma 5-door hatchback, also built in Europe, is available from £9,995 on the road and has exactly the same offers as the Space Star. In addition two new derivatives are added in time for the peak March market - the Carisma 1.6 MPI Elegance at £10,995 and the 1.9 DI-D Elegance at £11,995. Both these new additions have significant added value specification – with leather upholstery, air conditioning, side airbags, electric mirrors and alloy wheels.
The Galant range of saloons and estates from £17,995 upwards and the Space Wagon 7-seat people carrier models starting at £15,995, both have 3-years/27,000 mile free servicing offers.
Think Mitsubishi and most often customers think 4-wheel drive. The smallest member of the 4x4 family is the Shogun Pinin with three and five door models available with 50/50 finance, pay 50% now and nothing more until 2004. A new Shogun Pinin Vivo II with added value specification has just been added to the range at £13,995. Other prices start at £12,995 on the road.
Moving up the four-wheel drive ladder is the Shogun Sport with a 2.5 Turbo Diesel engine where service intervals have been increased to 9,000 miles. Shogun Sport 2.5 TD models start at £18,995. Just in time for congestion charges to bite, the Shogun Sport 3.0 V6 petrol is now available with an LPG version both as a passenger vehicle and as a commercial.
4Work Commercial Vehicle Range
For commercial vehicle operators the 03 March registration plate is no less important. Mitsubishi offers the widest range of 4x4 commercial vehicles in the UK. The L200 range, Shogun Pinin, Shogun Sport and Shogun are all available under the new Mitsubishi 4Work brand. Prices start at £10,295 on the road excluding VAT. Shogun Pinin 1.8 MPI and Shogun Sport 3.0 V6 petrol models will be available with LPG conversions so minimising future city congestion charges.
