The New 3-Door Mitsubishi Colt
Published: 15th December 2004
There’s a chassis to match. Stiffer dampers and springs all round, strengthened mounts and bushings, a reinforced lower front suspension arm and the security of standard ESP and traction control deliver the kind of surefooted and responsive handling that instils total driver confidence.
Colt CTZ looks the part too. Added styling panache is provided by a unique front bumper design with polished steel mesh grille, dark grey metallic headlamp bezels, a sports exhaust and above all unique 16-inch alloy wheels shod with 205/45R 16 tyres. A large front rubber air dam, side air dams, and a large rear wing type spoiler clearly signal the car’s sporting intent.
Moving inside the car, the theme continues with a black interior, black leather trimmed gear shift and steering wheel with audio controls, drilled aluminium pedals, silver accents on the dial surrounds, air vents and door handles, white meters with unique graphics, and door entry scuff plates. The extensive specification also includes a CAT 1 alarm, UV-filter glass, and side and curtain airbags.
