What We'd Like To See
- Again nothing notable, perhaps rear parking sensors would have been helpful.
Build Quality
Not as refined as a similarly priced car but everything seemed well screwed together and we haven’t had any reports of anyone having any serious trouble with their L200’s.
Value For Money
The L200 starts at £12,462+VAT for a single cab or £13,812+VAT for a double cab , which does seem quite good value for money and works its way upwards. Our test vehicle with all the extras weighed in at £22,587.15+VAT, which included the Armadillo Roll Top, which seems quite expensive at £ 1,248 +VAT. The roll top I think would be necessary for most users as it gives you a lockable boot/load area.
When compared with the competition the L200 range is very competitively priced. The Mitsubishi L200 comes with a 12,500 mile service schedule and a comprehensive 3 year/100,000 mile warranty.
Overall Opinion
It is hard not too like the L200 as it does everything so well, it is a great cross over vehicle by day it is a commercial 4x4 pick up and by night a comfortable versatile 4x4 family car.
We would be happy to use the L200 as a family car and it even cuts the mustard on the school run and shopping trips, therefore the Mitsubishi L200 comes highly recommended.Mitsubishi L200 Animal Road Test Conclusion | |
