Mitsubishi Grandis
Build Quality
As you would expect of Mitsubishi build quality is very good, there were no intrusive rattles to contend with - the Grandis should stand up well to the rigours family use. All materials and finishes were in keeping with a family car of this class and price - so no complaints.
Value For Money
The Mitsubishi Grandis 2.4 Elegance automatic is competitively priced within the MPV segment and offers a high level of standard equipment. It comes with a comprehensive 3-year unlimited mileage and 12-year anti-corrosion perforation warranty along with the reassurance of three years pan-European roadside, home and accident assistance. Service intervals for the Grandis are every 9,000 miles/12 months.
Overall Opinion
The Mitsubishi Grandis is a modern and purposeful vehicle which is easy to drive especially when coupled to Mitsubishi’s INVECS-II four-speed automatic gearbox.
With its futuristic styling Mitsubishi set out to prove that practical doesn't necessarily mean boring and they have certainly succeeded.
Mitsubishi have put a great deal of thought into the ergonomics of the Grandis enabling you to just load up and drive. A family trip to the seaside is where the Grandis came into its own transporting a family of six with the minimum of fuss.
Full marks to Mitsubishi for creating a seven seat MPV that combines versatility and intelligent design with head-turning style.
