Heritage commercial director, John Yea, who manned the stand with two of the Heritage sales team, commented :
"We were delighted at the strong level of interest in the new Clubman/1275GT bodyshell and individual panels that we displayed at MINI 45. It was an excellent event overall, with a superb display of historic and special MINIs and a really large attendance of genuine MINI enthusiasts. Many visitors discussed their restoration or new-build projects with us during the day, and it was clear that the new shell has been very well received."
The launch of the Clubman bodyshell and panels has been this year’s star event in the continuous Heritage programme of new part introductions, further adding to an already impressive range of key MINI components from badges to brake master cylinders.
An exceptional 41-year lifespan of the original MINI meant that it became a classic while still in production. Heritage believes that its status as one of the world’s most influential car designs will continue to grow over the years, and with it, the demand for parts to restore and maintain good examples. Heritage is strongly committed to the long term support of MINI enthusiasts with all the important components essential to the safe and enjoyable use of their cars.
British Motor Heritage Limited has unique access to the original designs, specifications and tooling of key British classic vehicles like the MINI, enabling it to provide authentic parts to at least original factory standard. In some cases, such as in body shell primer paint, improved modern processes give ‘better than original’ results. All Heritage parts are retailed via a world-wide network of Approved Specialists, which is listed, along with other information about Heritage, on the newly relaunched website : www.bmh-ltd.com
