Safety and Security
The MINI Clubman to date has not been awarded a Euro NCAP rating but the Hatch has been awarded the maximum 5 stars. The MINI Clubman comes with the usual array of safety gear that you should expect on a car of this class: Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), and Cornering Brake Control (CBC) plus Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) is standard on all models (with on-off control by the driver) this is combined with ASC+T traction control. There is a Tyre Pressure Warning System (TPWS) which monitors the tyre pressure to warn you of 'air loss' which could lead to a flat tyre or blow out.
As standard you get an RDS radio with single slot CD player, there is an aux-in socket under the toggle switchgear, so that you can connect an mp3 player or iPod and there is a 12v socket nearby. The volume control is a little awkward to operate but the display is good. Sound wise it is OK but it isn't going to blow you away.
