Ride Of A Lifetime

During August MG Sport & Racing will be dispatching MG ZR 160 ‘Super Group N’ rally cars to Lightwater Valley just outside Ripon, Yorkshire. Their mission: to thrill, entertain and bring the excitement of rallying to the public through MG XPOWER Xtreme Rally.

With many eager fans already pre-booked for the ride of a lifetime, the weekends are always destined to be "flat out"! Over 500 people have already experienced the co-driver’s seat alongside MG XPOWER drivers Miles Johnston and Matt Stephens in MG’s pocket rocket.

The Special Stage at Lightwater Valley uses some of the classic gravel roads out of the park and into the quarry, as used on many famous rallies. The Lombard RAC Rally and the National Breakdown International Rally have all visited Lightwater. Commenting on the special stage Matt Stephens said: "The stage is entirely on gravel, is tight, technical and provides lots of opportunities to get the car sideways. The nature of the stage is perfect for demonstrating the abilities of the MG ZR."

Team-mate Miles Johnston enthused: "We’ve visited Lightwater twice previously with Xtreme Rally and both times got a fantastic response from the public. Judging by the size of the grins and comments of the guests we never fail to complete our mission."
