Rover Is Helping BBC Children In Need To Get Streetwise

Published: 18th November 2003
The Streetwise

The BBC Children in Need Appeal is getting more Streetwise this year. Rover is sending 24 of its new Streetwise cars out around the UK to collect money for the charity with a ‘text-to-win’ competition. Proceeds go to BBC Children in Need.

The new Streetwise vehicles, liveried with Pudsey Bear will be touring the country over the next week. The cars carry a ‘text-to-win’ competition, which will raise money for the charity and result in one lucky winner receiving a new Streetwise car valued at £9,295 – simply by texting the right answer.

Streetwise is the new ‘urban on-roader’ from Rover that offers a distinctive new driving experience. Streetwise is robust, versatile and stylish, a fun car which is fun to drive and handy in traffic. With larger wheels and raised suspension for better ground clearance and a more commanding driving position it is easy to park and able to shrug off hard use.
