Hot Summer Night's Racing For MG

Croft winner Anthony Reid feels having maximum success ballast on board his MG ZS is not of too much concern for this weekend’s racing.
Anthony Reid said: "We have an excellent chance of winning this weekend. There is little or no ballast on Warren and Colin’s cars so an MG could certainly be on pole for race 1."
MG's win at the tight Croft circuit, and setting fastest lap at Rockingham with its high speed banking proves that the WSR developed MG ZS is a highly competitive and versatile race car.
Warren Hughes said: "We are upbeat about our chances as we have made some big gains in understanding the Dunlop tyres. Snetterton should suit the MG as we have shown that it is now working well on a variety of circuits."
Colin Turkington in the third MG ZS enjoyed a good run to 4th at Croft. Colin Turkington said: "I’m expecting to go well and am looking for a place on the first two rows of the grid for race 1. I won both Independent races there last year so am hoping for a good result."
Dick Bennetts, Managing Director WSR said: "The previous
two race weekends have shown the true potential of the MGs. The
win at Croft has the team on a real high going into the twilight
race at Snetterton, which has been a popular event in the past with
spectators. Adding to the positive note, the recent engine developments
to the MG ZSs have proved successful."
