Final specifications will be announced closer to the Maybach’s arrival, but equipment levels will be suitably lavish. As befits the world’s most luxurious new car, every aspect of acquiring and living with a Maybach has been thoroughly thought through.
Every customer has permanent access to their Personal Liaison Manager (PLM) – a specially trained expert who is available around-the-clock. The PLM is able to create a bespoke car, tailored to the individual’s needs. There are some 2.2 million different equipment combinations available, including bespoke luggage, sterling silver champagne glasses, cigar humidors and virtually any interior specification requested.
In addition to the full Maybach Centre at the new Wigmore Street site, each PLM has a car demonstrator suite of tools. This gives customers a fully functioning mobile consultancy service away from the showroom, and transports the full Maybach experience to anywhere in the world.
Maybach customers can be as involved or detached from their new car as they wish. Trips to the Centre of Excellence factory in Stuttgart can be arranged to see the car being assembled, or for a vehicle handover. Those who cannot attend in person are able to enjoy a live satellite transmission of the vehicle delivery, beamed to anywhere in the world. Or, the car can be securely delivered to any address.
Maybach has returned to the top of the motoring tree after an absence of some 60 years. Blending the very latest automotive technology with hand-finished expert assembly, the marque offers an unrivalled travelling experience. The new cars are built with the finest materials and all feature DaimlerChrysler’s engineering expertise.
Powered by an incredible 5.5 litre bi-turbo V12 engine developing 550 hp and 900 Nm, Maybachs are propelled from rest to 62.5 mph in just 5.4 seconds and in near silence. The effortless performance continues under all driving conditions, and whichever luxurious seat the owner chooses, a comfortable journey is guaranteed.
