The Mercedes Benz SLK 250 CDI is equiped with the 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission with start/stop technology, with a six speed manual tranmission available in the second quarter of 2012.

For the first time, the Mercedes Benz SLK Roadster will be available with a 204hp four cylinder diesel engine, offering fuel consumption of 56.5mpg on the combined cycle, 500Nm of torque and a 0-62mph time of 6.7 seconds on to a top speed of 150mph.

The Mercedes Benz SLK 250 CDI is equipped with the 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission with start/stop technology, with a six speed manual transmission available in the second quarter of 2012.

With fuel efficiency of 56.5mpg and CO2 emissions of 132g/km, the Mercedes Benz SLK 250 CDI is the most economical roadster in its segment.

The Mercedes Benz SLK 250 CDI is available with a choice of three versions of the vario-roof, one of which is the panoramic vario-roof with MAGIC SKY CONTROL, which allows the glass roof to be changed from dark to transparent at the touch of a button. Three suspension versions are also available: conventional steel suspension, a sports suspension with a stiffer spring and damper setup or a suspension with an electronically controlled, fully automatic damping system. The latter of which is part of the Dynamic Handling package, also offering the Direct-Steer system and Torque Vectoring Brake developed by Mercedes Benz.

The new Mercedes Benz SLK 250 CDI will be on sale in early 2012, pricing will be confirmed at a later date.
