Mercedes has revised the SL-Class for 2013 with prices now starting at £69,960 for the new SL 350 AMG Sport.
The revisions apply to cars that enter production from the start of June 2013 and include AMG packaging for the SL 350 and SL 500.
The SL 350 (from £69,960) and SL 500 (from £79,970) gain AMG Sport status which means they gain additional equipment worth £6,625 including the AMG Sports Package for both the interior and exterior, an electric glass sunroof, and Parktronic with Active Park Assist.
The AMG Sports Package comprises 19” AMG five-spoke alloy wheels; sports suspension lowered by 10mm, with revised damper settings; AMG body styling for side skirts and front and rear aprons; a body-coloured boot lip; upgraded braking system (SL 350 only) with perforated rear brake disks; and grey brake calipers with ‘Mercedes-Benz’ lettering.
The exterior paint colours now includes one non-metallic paint and five metallic paints, including new Polar White as standard, with the option of two additional colours which includes new Hyacinth Red for an extra £690.
On the inside their are sport seats trimmed in black leather with light brushed aluminium trim is standard with the option of Bengal Red or Porcelain nappa leather for an additional £710, you can also add with Black Ash Wood as a £345 option.
The SL 63 AMG (from £ 110,785) gains an electric panoramic glass sunroof and Parktronic with Active Park Assist which is worth £1,500 for free. Where the £168,285 SL 65 AMG remains the same with no revisions to the specification.Published 1 May 2013
