Mercedes have introduced the SL 400 to replace the SL 350 model, it has gone on sale priced from £72,500 and deliveries will start in July 2014.
The Mercedes Benz SL 400 is powered by a new EU6 compliant 2996cc six-cylinder bi-turbo engine outputting 333 hp / 480 Nm of torque. The 0-62 mph time is 5.2 seconds with a limited top speed of 155 mph. The official combined fuel consumption is recorded at 36.7 mpg with CO2 emissions of 178 g/km.
The SL 400 Sport is equipped with 19” AMG 5-spoke alloy wheels as well as AMG front and rear aprons and side skirts, a boot lid spoiler in body colour and sports suspension. Other standard equipment includes Frontbass and Magic Vision Control, both the SL 400 and SL 500 will also now feature a DAB tuner and Tyre Pressure Monitoring.Published 16 April 2014
