The new Mercedes Benz S 63 AMG will arrive in the UK in November priced from £119,565.

The S 63 AMG is powered by a hand-built AMG 5.5-litre V8 bi-turbo coupled to AMG Speedshift MCT seven-speed sports transmission. It delivers 585 hp with 900 Nm of torque on hand to enable it to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 4.4 seconds and then on to a top speed of 155 mph.
If top speed is not enough you can add the Drivers Package for £2,760 which de-restricts the top speed to 186 mph and secures you a place on an AMG ‘Power and Passion’ event so you can experience you car on the racetrack, under the guidance of an instructor.
Mercedes quote 27 mpg on the official combined fuel cycle and CO2 emissions of 237 g/km.

The S 63 AMG runs on 19” AMG 10-spoke alloy wheels with high-performance Composite Brakes and a unique AMG sports suspension set up based on the all new Magic Body Control.
Of course there is AMG body styling as standard comprising all-new front and rear bumpers which aid cooling plus AMG specific side sill panels with silver chrome inserts to give the car greater visual appeal.
Standard equipment includes Driving Assistance Package, Front Seat Comfort Package, Panoramic sunroof, Keyless Go Package, Burmester Surround Sound System with Six-Disc changer, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and Ambient Lighting.
If you are looking to spend more money you can add the AMG Exterior Carbon Package (£5,000) while the AMG high-performance ceramic composite brake system can be added for an extra £7,090.Published 19 August 2013
