The new Mercedes Benz CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake is set to make its debut at next year’s Geneva International Motor Show, with a launch date in March 2015.

The CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake is powered by an AMG 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo charged petrol engine, outputting 360 hp @ 6,000 rpm / 450 Nm of torque between 2,250 and 5,000 rpm. This will take it from rest to 62 mph in 4.7 seconds and then on to an electronically limited 155 mph. On the combined cycle it can achieve 34 mpg and CO2 emissions are 161 g/km according to NEDC data.

The CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake features all-wheel-drive, which is capable of shifting power from front wheel drive to a 50:50 split in a fraction of a second to ensure optimum drive via the AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sports transmission.

Standard equipment includes ADAPTIVE BRAKE, ATTENTION ASSIST, COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS, and ESP with Curve Dynamic Assist, Active bonnet, AMG door sill panels in brushed stainless steel at front, AMG floor mats, Brushed stainless steel sports pedals, Bi-xenon headlamps and Audio 20 USB multimedia system.

The options include Carbon-fibre trim, Performance exhaust system, COMAND Online,   DISTRONIC PLUS proximity control system including COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS, Lane Tracking package including Lane Keeping Assist and Blind Spot Assist, EASY-PACK tailgate
and Intelligent Light System.
