The new-generation Mazda6 was launched in November 2007 and we have already road tested the 2. 5 petrol: in August 2008. Now Mazda has developed a new diesel engine for the '6' range - a 2. 2-litre turbo diesel engine that according to them is one of the quietest and most powerful in its class. Rather than test another estate we opted to look at the 4 door saloon which comes in three trim levels - TS, TS2 and Sports Luxury. There is a choice of two petrol engines: 2. 0 and 2. 5 litre and one diesel engine but with two power outputs (163 ps) and (185 ps). the full review

The Mazda5 made its UK debut on the 22nd July 2005 and it has been given a facelift for 2008, we drove the pre-face lifted model in 2006 ( ) and at the time commended Mazda for producing a well-conceived and executed family vehicle that was fun to drive. Since then the Mazda5 has been revised with a refreshed design, including new front and rear bumpers, new front and rear light clusters, new front grille, new-style 16-inch and 17-inch alloy wheels, and a choice of eight exterior colours. Plus now there are power sliding doors (as part of an option package) and a new automatic transmission option. the full review

Based on the MX-Crossport concept car shown at the 2005 Detroit Motor Show, the new Mazda CX-7 was initially launched in North America in the spring 2006, where sales have already topped 45,000 units to date, followed by its introduction to Japan in December 2006. the full review

There are plenty of SUV-like crossovers on the market. Some are of the premium variety while others fall into the so-called non-premium, compact SUV category. Then along comes the Mazda CX-7 to confuse the issue, as it sits between the two segments with at least one axle in each camp. the full review

Mazda MX-5 1. 8i Sport Isn't it typical the day I take delivery of a Mazda MX-5 it rains after weeks of glorious sunshine! The car has been around for so long that I had become a little complacent about it however, when it finally did stop raining and I had the opportunity to give it a spin around the block I was smitten and my spin around the block turned into a day out. the full review
