Motor Trader's panel of judges said of Mazda Motors UK Ltd: "Mazda’s turnaround has been a remarkable achievement. The company has gone from strength to strength with the roll out of its Mazda2 supermini and the ever expanding Mazda6 ranges. It has also embarked on a recruitment drive for new dealers with many dealers beating a path to its door."
Philip Waring, Managing Director Mazda Motors UK Ltd said: "Whilst we have received considerable recognition for our great new products the difference with this award is that it recognises the whole business proposition that has underpinned our strategy and objectives since acquisition. It truly reflects the efforts that everybody has put in, an effort, which will see us deliver over 38,000 retails, an all time record for Mazda in the UK. This type of recognition is extremely important in reinforcing our credentials as a significant player in the industry and sends a clear message to everyone that Mazda is back and here to stay!"Published 8 July 2003
