Phoenix Mazda Takes Centre Stage At Braehead Shopping Centre

On show from 3-12 March were the new Mazda3 and the newly aligned Mazda2 models. Hostesses welcomed female visitors and prospective customers who were offered a free make-over from leading cosmetic companies at the stand.
Managing director John McGuire said interest in the Mazda cars soon turned into sales. One sale was completed in the first few days and staff had more than 250 inquiries to follow up.
Mr McGuire said: "The way forward is to take the product to the people rather than expect the people to come to us. Three out of four people who we spoke to were women. We were getting to decision makers at Braehead shopping centre."
Phoenix’s new £1 million Mazda showroom is set to open in late spring on the Phoenix Retail Park in Linwood Road, Paisley, close to Glasgow airport. Currently, Phoenix is welcoming customers at their shared dealership facility on the Linwood Road site and is busy taking orders until the showroom opens in May.
Phoenix’s new Mazda showroom will be a stunning building, with a glass frontage pointing skywards. The dealers’ seven-acre site was once part of the old Chrysler factory where Hillman Imps and various Hunter and Sunbeam models were built.

Local motor shows
Phoenix Mazda is planning to attend various local events this year. It will also be staging an official open weekend to celebrate the opening of its new showroom – this is planned for May, watch local press for details.
