GK Group Mazda Presents Local Man With Mazda MX-5

A local man has triumphed in a nationwide competition and won himself a brand new Mazda MX-5 sports car, in a prize draw run jointly between Mazda Motors UK and the UK's leading mail order brand, NEXT Directory.

Chesterfield dealership GK Group Mazda presented Ken Brown, from Penistone near Sheffield, with the car after his name was picked from thousands of customers who requested a NEXT Directory. The competition ran throughout the Spring/Summer season but started back in March; meaning Mr Brown had almost forgotten about his entry by the time NEXT contacted him to tell him about his victory.

"I couldn’t believe it when they told me I’d won!" exclaimed Mr Brown. "I can’t remember the last time I won anything so to get a car is amazing, especially a classic like a Mazda MX-5."

The Mazda MX-5 is the best selling roadster of all time with over 700,000 units sold worldwide since its introduction in 1989. It still remains hugely popular among car buyers in its fifteenth year and continues to amass many motor industry awards, recently being named ‘Best Sports Convertible’ by Used Car Buyer.
