Alex And Amber Zoom-Zoom Into Marriage

Local company owner Alex Pilling and his bride Amber Richardson zoom-zoomed away in a Mazda RX-8 after their Hertfordshire wedding. Love blossomed for the couple after they met at work – Alex, aged 28, is divisional manager for the family-owned Pilling Motor Group, and Amber, aged 25, works on the buying team for one of Pilling’s biggest fleet customers.

They were married at a ceremony at All Saints’ Church in Kings Langley, with a reception at Fanshaws, in Brickenden, head office of the Institute of the Motor Industry. Alex and Amber, who enjoyed a honeymoon on Paradise Island in the Maldives, are making their home in Two Mile Ash, Milton Keynes.

Pilling Motor Group is set to open a stunning new Mazda showroom in Milton Keynes this summer. The £2.3 million purpose-built complex, expected to open in August, is being built at the gateway to the busy Westcroft area, close to popular stores and busy restaurants.

Pilling also has a Mazda dealership at the intersection of Hatters Way, Dallow Road and Chaul End Road in Luton and runs the Pilling Body Shop in Rucklers Lane, Kings Langley.

The group also has the Volvo franchise for much of central England with dealerships in Hemel Hempstead, Milton Keynes and Welwyn Garden City, a Land Rover dealership in Welwyn Garden City and a Skoda dealership for the Milton Keynes area.
