The Mazda5 is a likeable MPV which can accommodate seven adults comfortably (five adults and their luggage).

What We'd Like To See
  • Drive away locking
  • An automatic transmission option
  • Parking sensors as standard
Build Quality

The quality of materials used is excellent in a vehicle of this price and it should prove durable and hard wearing.

Value For Money

At £16,300 OTR the Mazda5 2.0 Sport is good value for money for such a well-specified vehicle.

Conclusion

The Mazda5 is a likeable MPV which can accommodate seven adults comfortably (five adults and their luggage). It may not have the elevated driving position of some of its rivals but in our opinion the competent handling outstrips the higher driving position and it is fun to drive.

We commend Mazda for such a well-conceived and executed family vehicle.
