Mazda Momentum Hits Merseyside

Mazda is one of the UK’s fastest growing car manufacturers and Liverpool now has, for the first time, two Mazda showrooms operating in the city.
A new Peoples Mazda outlet in Orrell Lane, Bootle, began trading recently and now has its full staff team in place with fully operational service and parts facilities. The Bootle franchise adds to the other Peoples Mazda site in Speke Hall Road, close to Liverpool Airport, which opened in August 2003.
"We are delighted at the opening of the new branch and to further the relationship between Peoples and Mazda," commented dealer principal Gary Higgins. "The Orrell Lane site has been a huge project for us; we’ve invested a lot of money to ensure it has the best possible facilities for local car buyers and I’m sure it will be a huge success."
Rob Lindley, sales director of Mazda Motors UK, added: "We are always looking to strengthen our representation in key areas throughout the country and in recent times Liverpool has become an important market for us. Our partnership with Peoples has been very successful thus far and I’m sure this will continue into the future with the new showroom in Bootle."
To celebrate the opening of the new Peoples Mazda dealership, there will be a series of customer savings in place until the end of June 2005.
