Lexus has been awarded the Green Fleet 4x4 Manufacturer of the Year at the Green Fleet Awards.

Lexus was recognised for being the first luxury manufacturer to offer hybrid technology in the Lexus RX 400h, which went on sale in the UK in June.

Judges applauded the Lexus RX 400h for its "intelligent system with performance and power, delivering the fuel economy of a much smaller car."

The Green Fleet Awards, this year celebrating their sixth year, promote manufacturing and use of environmentally friendly fleets.
