The Lexus Hybrid 'Switch' radio advert has been awarded the winner in the Automotive category at the 12th annual Aerial Awards.
The winning radio advert demonstrates the seamless switch between the electric motor and petrol engine of a Lexus hybrid vehicle through the seamless change in two similar voices.
The advert was created in the UK in 2006 to promote Lexus Hybrid Drive as part of an integrated campaign to build knowledge and awareness.
Lexus developed the advert with agency partner Radioville, who also won Radio Agency of the year.
The Aerial Awards were set up by the Radio Advertising Bureau on behalf of the Commercial Radio industry to honour excellence in creative radio advertising. The principle behind the awards is that they are run for creatives and judged by creatives.
