The New Range Rover Evoque Convertible

The new Range Rover Evoque Convertible will go on sale in the spring of 2016 priced from £47,500 for the entry level TD4 HSE Dynamic edition.

The Evoque Convertible is the first production convertible from Range Rover and is furnished with a fabric soft top that can be lowered with 18 seconds at speeds up to 30 mph – it takes 21 seconds is rise.

It is strictly a four seater with a 251-litre boot which is not compromised by the roof, which when down lays flush with bodywork. There are roll-over bars which are hidden in the rear bodywork which deploy in the event of a pending roll-over to protect all occupants.

There will be two trim levels, HSE Dynamic and HSE Dynamic LUX which will be equipped with the all-new InControl Touch Pro system with 10.2” touch screen interface with smart phone integration, navigation, a premium sound system and 3G connectivity.

Power will come from a choice of petrol or diesel engines, including the new 2.0-litre Ingenium range and 240PS Si4 petrol unit.

It will feature as standard Land Rover’s All-Terrain Progress Control with a choice of transmission.
