New Lamborghini Showroom In London
Published: 19th August 2003
Located in Old Brompton Road opposite South Kensington underground station, the new dealership environment is the result of over £300,000 investment. The London showroom joins only two other facilities in Europe that have been refurbished to the new Lamborghini brand environment: one in Düsseldorf, Germany and another opening behind London in Milan, Italy.
The London showroom comes as Automobili Lamborghini starts production of its new Lamborghini model, the Gallardo. Launched earlier this year to world-wide motoring press and customer acclaim, the Gallardo sports a V10 engine and produces 500 bhp, with a top speed of over 190 mph and a price tag of £115,000 plus delivery. First UK deliveries of right hand drive cars by Lamborghini London are anticipated at the end of this year. Lamborghini London holds over 150 deposited orders for the new car and expects to deliver around 100 units in 2004.
The Gallardo will join the Murciélago in Lamborghini’s product line-up. Replacing the Diablo, the Murciélago was launched in late 2001 with a V12 engine, producing 570 bhp and a top speed of 205 mph.
"Lamborghini is viewed internationally as one of the most exciting and prestigious car marques in the world, says Lamborghini London’s general manager Dominic Lancaster. "This new showroom provides a perfect environment within which to appreciate the Murciélago and Gallardo."
